Part #1715; is designed to be used on, F-150, F-250, F-350 trucks, E-150, E-250 and E-350 vans with loading not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended maximum load/towing capacity of the vehicle. Superchip's Inc. will not warrant the 1715 product when used on a larger truck, van, or any motor homes. #1715 will not work on 1996-1997 trucks with the 7.5L motor.

Our "1725" Ford Car "Max" Micro Tuner is very simple to install. Plug the Micro Tuner into the vehicles ALDL diagnostic port, located inside the vehicle. Program your vehicle with "Superchips Signature Tuning" in just a few minutes.

User options on the "1725" are as follows.

• 87 Octane programming so you can make the following adjustments with out needing to use higher priced fuels. No horsepower or torque gains with this program.
• 91-93 Octane programming when extra power is required.
• Adjustable shift points on electronically controlled automatic transmissions.
• Adjustable shift firmness on electronically controlled automatic transmissions.
• Raise speed limiter
• Correct speedometer for tire height and gear changes.

Note: All "Max" Micro Tuners have been designed to work on basically stock vehicles. The "Max" Micro Tuners will work with after market air filter systems and cat back exhaust systems. The "Max" Micro Tuner was not designed to work with modified motors and after market supercharger or turbocharger kits.

What changes does Superchips make to provide the extra performance you're looking for?

Gas Powered vehicles:

• We adjust the ignition timing to take advantage of 91 to 93 octane fuel.
• We adjust the air fuel ratio
• We firm up the shifts on automatics
• We shorten the time it takes the automatic transmission to up shift
• On some Fords, we will raise the rev limiter and speed limiter
• We do not require the use of a 160 degree thermostat which can cause excessive fuel consumption
• We can provide custom programming for most after market modifications
• There's no tricky installation, installation can be performed by anyone with general mechanical ability. If you can change your own oil and filter and change your own spark plugs, you should be able to perform this installation.
