Increasing the torque and horse power is almost too easy on the 1994 through 1998 1/2 Bosch P7100 fuel pump. Our fuel stop plates install in place of the stock plate located on top of the pump's governor housing. We supply a die that fits over the stock plate before it is removed. For best results the BD plate should be installed in the exact location the stock unit was in.

When increasing the amount of fuel you will get a power increase as well as higher exhaust temperatures. Excessive exhaust smoke is due to a calibration problem and the application should be inspected by a trained installation center. We recommend that instruments be installed to monitor the exhaust temperature and boost pressure.

If modifying one of the CPL's listed below and taking it to the 230 HP 605 Lbs Torque with the addition of the fuel stop plate, the fuel flow rate of the pump and injectors would be similar to pump # 3676601 RX and injector# 3802625RX.
