      Edge's latest Juice with Attitude release for the 6.4L Ford is Edge's most sophisticated and power-producing module to date. The Juice with Attitude dramatically improves the Ford 6.4L's driveability, towing capability, mileage and power. 
      
      The Juice plugs into the truck's factory connections in a matter of minutes and communicates directly with the engine's ECM, from which it receives vital engine data and fuel system information. This communication enables the Juice to provide smooth and precise power under any driving condition. The Attitude is the in-cab controller that controls the Juice and provides constant real-time updates on the truck's vital information. Using the Attitude, one can choose from five different power levels and shift on the fly. 
      
      The Juice with Attitude produces noticeable gains in horsepower and ft-lbs of torque — anywhere from 20-70 additional horsepower and 60-120 additional ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. It is the premium power module, controller and gauge package. The Attitude functions as a comprehensive gauge display by monitoring exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), turbo boost, transmission slip and engine coolant temperature. The module even has built-in safety features to protect the truck, such as audible alerts and automatic defueling to prevent excessive EGT, boost levels and transmission slippage. It also displays 0-60 and quarter-mile times, adjusts for non-stock tire sizes and displays clears diagnostic trouble codes. 
      
      New with this module are a color-adjustable Attitude plus a custom pod to make the unit look like it came stock with the truck. Additionally, this is the first ever Internet-updateable module that Edge offers. Simply put, the Juice with Attitude is the simplest upgrade for the most driveable horsepower on the market.

The Power Pup Downloader is a programmer/tuner that downloads horsepower and performance enhancing programs into 2003-2007 Ford Power Stroke with either a 6.0L or 6.4L V8 diesel engine in one SKU (stock keeping unit). The downloader offers up to three different Engine Tunes above stock to accomodate various driving conditions; read below for recommended use.

Engine Tuning Programs

The engine tuning options below describe what tunes are available through the Power Pup and their recommended use.

• Stock: Choosing the Stock engine tune will result in no change to engine horsepower output. All other downloader features can still be accessed if the Stock engine tune is chosen.

• Tow: This engine tune is recommended for use while towing, it is a mild tune that increases performance by 40 to 50 horsepower. This is the only tune that we recommend you tow with other than stock.

• Performance: This engine tune will yield up to 75 extra horsepower. Pyrometer and boost gauges are highly recommended while using this tune.

• Extreme: This engine tune will yield up to 120 extra horsepower. Pyrometer and boost gauges are highly recommended while using this tune. This tune is not available for the ‘08 6.4L.

Engine Tuning Options:

Superchips offers three performance programs in addition to the
ability to return the vehicle back to factory/stock settings.

• Stock: This is the original fi le created by the vehicle manufacturer.
The user has the option at any time to completely restore the vehicle
ECM and TCM to the original stock status. The ECM/TCM operating
systems are not permanently modifi ed in any way.

• Transmission Only: With this program only the TCM is
reprogrammed by the Flashpaq. This program will improve shift fi rmness and shift points to enhance vehicle performance. Quicker, fi rmer
upshifts and downshifts will be achieved and will enhance both 0-60 and 1/4 mile track times.

• Performance Tow: This program is recommended for towing applications. Please note that this program does not in any way raise the
vehicle manufacturer specifi ed tow limit of the vehicle. This Performance Tow program provides an increase of 51.3 rear wheel horsepower
and 110 lbs. ft. of torque.

• Performance: This program will produce 77.8 additional rear wheel horsepower and 146.3 lbs. ft. of torque. This program is designed
for performance applications and should not be used when towing.

• Redline Performance Tunes: Superchips will offer a “Redline” tune that provides an extreme level of performance for enthusiasts
interested in racing or other extreme off-road applications. This tune will be downloadable from the Superchips Internet update system at
an additional charge. Once downloaded to the Flashpaq device this will appear as an additional (fourth) performance program available to

Flashpaq Features:

• Speed Limiter: The vehicle manufacturer limits the speed of the vehicle using a speed limiter. Superchips provides an option to remove
the speed limiter. The vehicle speed limiter removal feature is intended for race applications only and should never be used for speeding
on public roads or highways. If the speed limiter is removed the consumer must ensure the vehicle is properly equipped for racing and to
handle speeds in excess of the factory speed limiter.

• Diagnostic Trouble Codes: The Superchips Flashpaq can be used as a scan tool to retrieve and clear diagnostic trouble codes. This
feature allows the user or dealer to understand the purpose and meaning of a “check engine” lights triggered by the vehicle’s computer.

• Speedometer Correction (coming soon): This feature allows the consumer to recalibrate the vehicle speedometer to provide an
accurate reading when larger or smaller aftermarket wheels and/or tires are added to vehicle. This will be offered as a free feature upgrade

What is the Diablosport Predator?

The Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Peak levels are saved in memory and can be viewed after a run. The exhaust temperatures are monitored with a Pyrometer probe inserted in the exhaust flow. The probe can be mounted before of after the turbocharger. If mounted after the turbo the temperatures will vary from 300° F to 1000° F. If mounted before the turbo temperatures of 300° F to 1200° F will be normal working levels. Select the temperatures that should not be exceeded and the numbers will flash when it is attained. It is hard to have too much turbocharger boost pressure but if you have too little under a hard pull the result can be high operating temperatures. Transmission oil temperatures will reflect how hard you are working the transmission. The oil begins to break down quickly once it reaches 270° F. Higher temperatures cause transmission life to shorten, set the limit at the 250° F and increase the operating life. We can also monitor the fuel transfer pump pressure on the ISB electronic engines. Traditional round Analog gauges and mounts are also available, please scroll the page down to view them. Stay on top of what is happening in your engine with the proper gauges from BD! With the engine stopped there is no oil flow over the bearings that support the hot turbocharger wheel assembly. This causes the residue oil being burned and the resulting carbon will cause premature turbo failure!

Don't shut your hot engine down after a hard run. Switching your engine off after a heavy haul when the exhaust temperature is above normal engine idle temperature can result in turbo bearing damage.

The BD AutoLoc is a computer that commands the torque convertor lock-up clutch to stay applied when an exhaust brake is engaged. The AutoLoc ensures that 100% of the retarding force is being transferred in 3rd and 4th gears, thus, transmission oil temperatures remain low because convertor slippage no longer occurs in these gears. The lock-up clutch and brake automatically disengage at low speeds to prevent stalling and transmission and convertor damage. The convertor lock up clutch applies with accelerator pedal pressure, and the AutoLoc captures this signal. After shifting out or into overdrive in Dodge trucks, apply heavy accelerator pedal pressure or quickly release the pedal and the lock up clutch will engage. Exhaust brakes cause high automatic fluid temperatures due to the torque converter slippage and without a AutoLoc only 10-80% of the retarding force is transferred through the (unlocked) fluid coupling of a torque convertor. You can drive the truck with the AutoLoc engaged all the time. If you experience a shutter when you slow down in over drive with the AutoLoc engaged, you need to have the AutoLoc reset to disengage at a higher vehicle speed. However, variances occur due to rear ratios and tire sizes.

Torque converters in the newer trucks have 2 stages: (1) a fluid coupling occurs first when you are starting, accelerating or pulling up a big hill, (2) when you are cruising at a constant speed the lock up portion of the converter is engaged and 100% of each rpm is transferred through the converter, just like a standard clutch. With the TorqLoc toggle switch in the first position the lock up clutch is engaged and 100% of the rpm is transferred, transmission temperatures remain low and engine retarders work at 100%. This position is manual and should only be used manually just like a gear would be selected. Factory convertor (and aftermarket) clutch and drive clutch designs have torque limitations and this function should only be used under light load and light power conditions. A adjustable pressure switch is available to disengage the lock up clutch once a set boost pressure or load has been achieved. The second position converts the application back to stock operation or it can be wired to unloc the convertor. The third position is an AutoLoc position that only maintains a lock up when the stock computer has already established a circuit. This position can be safely selected for retarding or under heavy power and load applications. This position can be selected for every day driving in all situations. The TorqLoc also has an overdrive inverter option to have the transmission start in drive. The lock up can be set to hold on untill 5-10 MPH if you have 2nd gear lock up for slow driving condidtions.
