41562 - Power Pup Ford 03-07 6.0L or 6.4L V8 Diesel The Power Pup Downloader is a programmer/tuner that downloads horsepower and performance enhancing programs into 2003-2007 Ford Power Stroke with either a 6.0L or 6.4L V8 diesel engine in one SKU (stock keeping unit). The downloader offers up to three different Engine Tunes above stock to accomodate various driving conditions; read below for recommended use.
Engine Tuning Programs
The engine tuning options below describe what tunes are available through the Power Pup and their recommended use.
• Stock: Choosing the Stock engine tune will result in no change to engine horsepower output. All other downloader features can still be accessed if the Stock engine tune is chosen.
• Tow: This engine tune is recommended for use while towing, it is a mild tune that increases performance by 40 to 50 horsepower. This is the only tune that we recommend you tow with other than stock.
• Performance: This engine tune will yield up to 75 extra horsepower. Pyrometer and boost gauges are highly recommended while using this tune.
• Extreme: This engine tune will yield up to 120 extra horsepower. Pyrometer and boost gauges are highly recommended while using this tune. This tune is not available for the ‘08 6.4L.

The Lightning simply plugs into the ECM located right beside your battery and comes with a switch on the back of the module that you can select from 3 different levels: 60 rwhp/140 ft lbs, 80 rwhp/181 ft lbs or 100 rwhp/235 ft lbs of torque. Performance level creation occurs by increasing injector pulse-width and time of injection. The new Torque Shift transmission has a slow performance learning curve but once it gets used to the level you choose, it performs like a dream. Included with the module are connections for the upcoming "A" Monitor that will display exhaust temperature, turbo boost and allow on-the-fly power adjustments. The "A" Monitor can also cut back the fuel if high exhaust temperatures are attained. |

BD now offers Brand NEW Powerstroke injectors that are manufacturered to Ford, Caterpillar and Navistar specifications. Only new current production has tungsten coated plungers that prevents any sticking and increase the injector life.
They test as new and perform as only a new part built to high quality standards can.
Warranty is 2 Years on the parts and one year labor coverage.
Core charges do apply but are credited 100% on prompt return. BD's rebuilt injectors are tested and verified electronically and then mechanically calibrated in matched sets. The injector is checked for fuel flow at different levels to duplicate idle, mid and high engine rpm and load. The Nozzle spray pattern is inspected and the release pressure is set. Matting surfaces are lapped to ensure no leakage occurs within the body.
The XXX Pulse injectors add 80 more rear wheel Hp. When using these high performance injectors we suggest a X Power chip with special engine tuning be installed to adjust the time of injection that insures a good clean fuel burn as well as good operating temperatures. A new High flow quick responce turbo is also required.
CORE CHARGES MAY APPLY. Any year PowerStroke cores will be accepted. Fire damaged units will result in the core being rejected. |
