BD's 3" vacuum cylinder with a progressive spring loaded piston delivers 100 psi apply & release pressure. The exclusive alumibronze bushings prevent shaft sticking. The free flowing elbow casting incorporates an off set stainless steel butterfly. Once the engine has reached the peak retarding pressure the offset butterfly compresses the spring and calibrates the retarding HP. It beats anything else in the industry! BD's casting simply bolts in place of an existing elbow. It:s attached into the trucks vacuum system for control. No engine modifications are needed on the 24 valve engines. For peak retarding power on the 12-valve engine we have H/D exhaust springs available. |

1994-99 BD has 2 kits to choose from! The most popular kit is the rear portion, which replaces the stock 3" system from the cat to the tail pipe. Our high flow 4" Big Mac Muffler slips onto the 4" mandrel bent over the axle pipe and is finished with a chrome tail pipe extension. Sounds tough but classic and improves the turbo response.
Easily installed by the back yard mechanic!
We also have the front portion of the system from the turbo to the Cat in 4" pipe. When you combine both kits you will open the system for optimum turbo performance. This kit does require some welding to fit it on the cat.
Dodge Ram’s 89’ to 93’
Our 3.5" over- the- axle pipe and low restriction muffler is a 100% improvement over the stock exhaust system. If you have a 4x4 we also have an intermediate pipe that has mandrel bends to route around the transfer case for smooth quick exhaust flow.
