Installation of Bully Dog
Rapid Flow Induction System
Remove the hose clamp holding the intake pipe onto the
top of the air box
Remove the top part of the stock air box assembly by
popping off the latches located on the sides of the box
(picture 1)
Store the top of the air box in a safe place in case
needed for future use
Because of the high flow nature of the conical air
filter the filter minder cannot be used. On 02-03 models
that use the electronic filter minder just disconnect the
wire and stow it out of harms way.
Install the Bully Dog Conical filter onto the RFI intake
box and fasten with the 4” hose clamp do not tighten the
hose clamp fully
Install the end plate onto the end of the new air box by
screwing in the provided fasteners
Insert the tabs on the end of the new airbox through the
holes in the end of the old airbox (picture 2)
Install the stock intake pipe onto the RFI airbox and
tighten the hose clamp
Check and tighten all fasteners and be careful to look
for any loose parts
Test drive the vehicle being careful to listen for any
strange noises
The installation of the Bully Dog Rapid Flow Induction
system is now complete. Picture 3
