Installation of J-Hook
Read the disclaimer before
installation
- Find the waist gate located on the back side of the
turbo. There will be a round cylinder with a rod heading to
a lever, located on the exhaust side of the turbo.
- Remove the two 10 mm nuts on the back of the round
cylinder.
- Place the plate over the top of the two studs. The bolt
hole will slide over the top bolt. The bolt slot will slide
over the bottom bolt. The cut out will allow for clearance
around the rod.
- Place the nuts back on the studs in order to give some
play in the bracket.
- Loosen the turn buckle so only two threads are holding
on in each end of nut.
- With a spring puller or pliers pull the J Hook over the
waste gate lever.
- Tighten the two 10 mm bolts firmly.
- Tighten the turn buckle until spring is 1¾ inches long
and lock with the nut.
