before continuing with installation
- The gauge may be mounted in a 2 1/16” hole in the dash, a
gauge panel or a pod mount made specifically for you vehicle.
- Attach gauge wiring before mounting gauge into hole.
- Before installing gauge into hole, attach nylon pressure line
fitting to back of gauge using adapter, ferrule and compression
fitting.
- Route line through firewall. Be cautious of rough or sharp
metal edges when routing the line. Be careful not to kink line.
Check to make sure line does not rub on any sharp edge.
- Connect line to pressure port on engine using 1/8” adapter. If
there is no pressure port fitting you can remove one of the
pressure pipes on the boost side of turbo and drill a 5/16” hole
& tap with a 1/8” NPT and screw in compression fitting.
Additional parts may need to be purchased depending upon your
application.
- Make certain line is free from hazards of heat or moving
parts.
- Start engine and thoroughly check for leaks.
- Plug in light assembly and connect one wire to panel light
dimmer circuit and other to ground.
